Picture yourself on this amazing trip to tropical paradise!  Wildlife galore!! The Washington County Chamber is pleased to be hosting a group travel tour of Costa Rica in February 2015.

Thanks to professional tour company Collette Vacations and Chamber member Cricket Cruise & Travel, we are able to offer an eight-day tour of Costa Rica for an amazing price. The tour will be February 9-17, 2015.  It features stops in the rainforest, jungle, volcano, hanging bridge, a coffee plantation, and much more.

Everyone in the community is invited!  Chamber members will enjoy a reduced tour price, but your friends, relatives and non-members are also welcome and encouraged to join this once-in-a-lifetime trip at your price.  It departs from the Houston airport.  You may have friends and family from across the U.S. who would like to join you for this trip.  There is an early booking discount of $100 per person, but only available until August 8th.
See details in the "Tropical Costa Rica" brochure found at this link (PDF file).

"TAILGATE PARTY"  Washington County's favorite Fun-draiser

Always one of the best parties of the year in Washington County!  Proceeds from the annual "TAILGATE" event go towards programs and projects that help better the community and local economy.   View a slideshow from last year's "Tailgate" event below.

"TAILGATE 2014" will be held on Thursday, August 28.  Details will be available in mid-June.

An elegant banquet is held each year to recognize the volunteer efforts of the Chamber and EDF Board of Directors and the Blue Blazers.  A major highlight of the evening is the announcement of the Man & Woman of the Year awards.  (Click here to view a list of Past Recipients.)

The next Annual Banquet is scheduled for late January/early February 2015.  The featured speaker will be announced at the start of the new year!  The featured speaker in Jan. 2014 was Greater Houston Partnership Chairman Paul Hobby. (See more details in the Newsletter Archive).
