Below are some of the major events held by the Brenham/Washington County Chamber of Commerce. View details about the events, including sponsors and photo slide shows. Enjoy!!
An elegant banquet is held each year to recognize the volunteer efforts of the Chamber and EDF Board of Directors and the Blue Blazers. A major highlight of the evening is the announcement of the Man & Woman of the Year awards. (Click here to view a list of Past Recipients.)
The next Annual Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2015. The theme is "Taking Care of Business" and the featured speaker will be Joel Allison, CEO of Baylor Scott & White Healthcare System.
The featured speaker in Jan. 2014 was Greater Houston Partnership Chairman Paul Hobby. (See more details in the Newsletter Archive). View a slideshow below of photos from the 2014 banquet, courtesy of Brenham Portrait Gallery - Scott Hill
The Second Annual Fall Frolic/Ladies Night Out with the Chamber” event was held October 30 to the delight of well over 300 women in the community.
A big round of thanks go to top sponsors Dona Lynn’s Unique Gifts and KTTX/KWHI Radio. Thanks also go to these other generous sponsors: Ant Street Inn, Appel Ford/Hyundai of Brenham, Blue Bell Creameries, Heritage Texas Country Properties, Ranch Interiors, Scott & White Healthcare–Brenham, and Texas Farm Credit. Several other businesses supported the event, and a complete list is below.
There were 70 vendors and exhibitors, and some of the best shopping in town was offered at the Chamber’s Ladies Night Out event. A fashion show featured models wearing designs from Trés Chic, Branded Boutique and Mean Cowgirl. Ladies were entertained throughout the evening with music by Jack’s Sax.
Take a peek at the photos below and see if you spot your friends and coworkers in the pics! Special thanks to Charlotte Avera from Camp For All for the event photography.
Overall, the feedback has been great. Vendors say they value the exposure and opportunity to market their products and services. All ladies say they had fun and really enjoyed the shopping, food, fashion shows and music. Many said they were introduced to companies they did not even know existed in our community. That is a win-win for members and shoppers.
